Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

A Children’s Play by RICHARD R. GEORGE
Adapted from the fantasy by ROALD DAHL

Produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tells the tale of the grand reopening of Mr. Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. After being mysteriously shut-away for a period of time, Wonka has now sent out an extra special invitation: five golden tickets tucked away in his famous candy bars. The lucky finders of these tickets are welcomed to a tour of the factory given by the chocolate-maker himself. The stage is set for a wonderful day in a wacky world of chocolate, chewing gum, squirrels, and television, but it turns out not all children are as sweet as candy…
